Hello, I’m Peter.

I’m an award-winning picture editor with over two decades of experience across documentary and scripted films and series. My work has premiered at TIFF, VIFF, SXSW, and Hot Docs; streamed on Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max, and Showtime; and aired on PBS, BBC, A&E, and more.

I approach every project with an emotionally driven, cinematic sensibility, shaped by my love of art, music, and design. Along the way, I’ve earned seven nominations and three wins. For The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal, a Canadian Screen Award, a Directors Guild of Canada Award, and a Canadian Cinema Editors Award—a rare sweep of Canada’s major editing honours. The series also went on to win the TIFF ’24 People’s Choice Award.

Other recent work includes Black Zombie (SXSW ’26), Degrassi: Whatever It Takes (TIFF ’25), and The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks (SXSW ’22).

When I’m not editing, you’ll likely find me cycling around town, snacking on French pastries, or consuming all things Larry David and Daniel Johnston.
