Hello, I’m Peter.
I’m an award-winning Picture Editor with two decades of experience across documentary and scripted films and series. My work has premiered at TIFF, VIFF, SXSW, and Hot Docs; streamed on Prime Video, Hulu, HBO Max, and Showtime; and aired on PBS, BBC, A&E, and more. Along the way, I’ve received a Canadian Screen Award, a Directors Guild of Canada Award, and a Canadian Cinema Editors Award, as well as seven additional nominations.
Recent work includes The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal (TIFF ’24 People’s Choice Award winner), Degrassi: Whatever It Takes (TIFF ’25), Black Zombie (SXSW ’26), and The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks (SXSW ’22).
I approach every project with an emotionally driven, cinematic sensibility, influenced by my love of art, music, and design.
When not editing, you’ll likely find me cycling around town, snacking on French pastries, or consuming all things related to Larry David and Daniel Johnston.
